The Chinese economy is facing a number of challenges in the coming years if it is to be able to carry on growing and secure the country's place as a major superpower in the world.
Brian Coulton, emerging markets strategist for Legal & General Investment Management, will be giving his views on what China needs to do to keep its economy moving at an upcoming event to be held in London.
He will be at the firm's office at One Coleman Street on June 5th to talk about how reform, rebalancing and restraint can all be used by the Chinese government in order to ensure economic growth continues over the coming years.
"Previously, when emerging economies have enjoyed the levels of growth that have been seen in China there has been, in a number of cases, after the party some severe hangovers," it was noted by the organisation.
Trade growth figures revealed in China earlier this month exceeded expectations made by analysts, with exports shown to have surged by 14.7 per cent compared with a year earlier.
