The Volatility Index is a new market aimed at helping those who
have an exposure with S&P options. It can also be used by
anyone wishing to buy or sell volatility.
Priced in pounds per point, it has the same margin requirement
as the S&P options market (500 x stake.) Trading times are from
14.30 until 21.15 Monday to Friday.The settlement is against the
last traded price and expiry is on the Tuesday prior to the third
Friday of the month.
