Risk Reward

One of the benefits of binary betting is that you always know what your maximum profit and maximum loss can be, as soon as you have placed a bet.

For example if you were to bet on the Midday FTSE Up market and the price was showing:

Midday FTSE Up: 35 – 39

If you bought £1 you know that your:

Maximum Profit: (100 – 39) x £1 = £61
Maximum Loss: 39 x £1 = £39

Whilst your maximum profit and loss are known up front, you can close out of a bet any time until the market in question has closed. Hence unlike other derivative products, your total risk is always known as soon as a bet is placed.

Binary Betting is a form of fixed odds betting and is activity not regulated by the Financial Sevices Authority. The normal protections afforded by the regulatory framework do not therefore apply.
